Open House 2012

Event Details: Large display of military vehicles to include tanks and other armored vehicles. Public WWII
battle on Saturday with many US and German vehicles.  Daily flea market.
Lunch is provided for reenactors.

Muster Day 2012 - American Heroes Celebration
Date: 20-22 April 2012
Location: Camp Mabry, Austin, Texas

Event Details: Living history exhibits, historic weapons firing demos, military vehicle rides, historic and current
military vehicle and aircraft displays, and 36th Division band concert. The battle recreates the battle of
Montelimar in September 1944, when the 36th Infantry Division almost cut off the retreat of the German 19th
Army following the invasion of Southern France. This will be a vehicle heavy event. Besides the museum's
Sherman tank, M3 halftrack and Hetzer, there will be a Stug III, German halftrack, M8 Armored Car, M5 Stuart
Tank, and an additional Sherman Tank. Pre-Registration required. Photo ID required for admission to Camp

Memorial Day Armed Forces Event

Event Details: Participants and spectators can ride to the "German Village of Rheinhausen" on the military
transport train. Spectators can watch the battle unfold from their seats. During the ride to the battle spectators
can walk through the train and to a historic mock-up of General Patton's railcar. Following the battle on
Saturday night is a 1940's USO Show Dinner & Dance for $35 per person. See the

Unit Training Event

Location: Training Facility, Mount Pleasant, Texas

Event Details: Unit training event to conduct basic training for new recruits and sustainment training for all
troopers. Training will include individual tasks, weapons orientation, individual and squad movement, tactics,
discussion of unit history and ogranizational structure as well as conduct unit administrative tasks.

AIRSHO 2012
